Patrick b. Johnson, Founder

Patrick is a first-generation college graduate from Houston, Texas with years of experience in finance and banking. Since graduating from Howard University, Patrick has worked in the banking industry in various roles: Deal Pricing, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Expense Management, and others. Currently, he is an Vice President for Business Development at Citigroup, Inc. While connecting with his peers as a professional, he saw a huge disparity in the financial knowledge and understanding of his minority peers versus his non-minority peers. He believes this disparity is a large factor causing financial inequity, which led him to create The New Balance.
